A beginners course for students interested in learning how to develop an app. This course wiill be using App Inventor software tool.

Synopsis – This class gives an introduction to the App Inventor software tool. It is an intuitive, visual programming environment that allows you to build fully functional applications for Android smartphones and tablets.

In this class we will cover the setup of the App Inventor and the download of a QRC reader and the AI Companion on a smart phone. We will develop a simple app showing the basics of the app inventor.

Age Group – This class is directed towards students in the 6th through 12th grades.

Student Supplies – Student must have a Windows based laptop with WiFi. An Android smart phone. (These can be purchased from Walmart and you do not have to activate the phone.) A USB cable for the smart phone.

Class Length – This class will be two hours long.

Class Size – This class will be limited to 10 students.

Class Price – This class two hour class will cost $50/student.
